MLB wouldn’t have invited drag queen group if it mocked any religion other than Christianity
Every year, during the so-called "Pride" month, there are a lot of outlandish styles and people in scantily clad, lewd, and inappropriate clothing. But with all the leather masks and outfits, nothing has become as fashionable as mocking Christianity. Major League Baseball reinforced this assertion with the Los Angeles Dodgers inviting, disinviting, and reinviting the satirical, anti-Christian performance group Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. If any despicable acts the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence performed ridiculed Muslims or Jewish people, they would never be welcomed. Moreover, they would probably be considered a hate group.
The group is made up of men, who dress up as women, dressed up as nuns, to mock Catholics and the Christian belief that homosexuality is a sin. They claim their acts are all in good fun meant to entertain and promote LGBT "rights" by ridiculing Christians. In addition to dressing like nuns, the group's slogan, as advertised at the bottom of their webpage, is, "Go and sin some more" — a perversion of the words of Jesus Christ, who, in John 8:11, commanded an adulterous woman to "go and sin no more."

The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and "Pride" month, have normalized bigotry against Christianity. They perform lewd and lascivious shows that make a mockery only of Christianity. While many LGBT proponents frequently condemn Christian teachings that homosexuality is a sin, such groups never target other religions that espouse the same thing, such as Judaism or Islam. Other religions can believe that homosexuality is a sin, but it's only a problem when Christians do it.
They are too afraid to attempt any comedy critical of the LGBT beliefs of those religions. But anyone with any knowledge knows that the objections to LGBT lifestyles in the Bible are nearly identical in the Torah and Quran.
Consider the Torah, the "first five books of Moses," and Judaism's written law. In Leviticus, there are two separate commands that prohibit homosexuality. Lev 18:22 commands, "Do not lie with a male as one lies with a woman; it is an abhorrence." Lev 20:13 declares, "If a man lies with a male as one lies with a woman, the two of them have done an abhorrent thing; they should be put to death — their blood guilt is upon them." Now those teachings mixed with contemporary culture is a clear and obvious "no-no." So when will the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence perform dressed as rabbis?
In Islam, the Quran provides the tale of the "people of Lot," who were punished and destroyed by God because their men committed sexual acts with each other. The Hadith, believed by Muslims to be the actual words of the Prophet Muhammad, called for harsh punishment of homosexual and effeminate men. It also states that for any man found doing what Lot's people did, Muslims are "to kill the one who does it and the one to whom it is done." So where are the drag queens making fun of Muslim Imams?
The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence don't mock Jewish people or Muslims because they are too afraid to do so. Ridiculing Christians is all well and good. Doing the same thing against Jewish people and Muslims gets condemned as antisemitic and Islamophobic, or — as the satirical artists of Charlie Hebdo learned in 2011, 2015, and 2020 — a retribution much more dangerous.

None of this suggests that the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence should incorporate anti-Jewish or anti-Muslim performances into their acts. There's just respect given to other religions’ beliefs on LGBT lifestyles that isn't given to Christians. Like the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, most LGBT proponents bully Christians because they know they can get away with it.
They don't have the same security when it comes to Muslims and Jewish people. They are too afraid to satirize Judaism and Islam. They’re not scared to do so to Christianity. That is a major problem. Christians will no longer be doormats or punching bags to LGBT proponents.
All religions deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. The LGBT didn't like it when they were caricatures and mocked and objected to it. They should heed their own calls for sensitivity and equality. If not, then they should have the guts to start including Judaism and Islam in their performances and will see how that scenario plays out.
